Introduction


Martin Luther King Jr was born on January 15, 1929 – April 4, 1968. Martin Luther King was a activist and an leader in the black Civil Right Movement. He believed all people should have equal rights and fought to peruse these rights among people of all types of different races. A famous speech which Martin Luther King performed was the "I Have A Dream" this was a very powerful speech and affected many.He followed the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi who was a political leader of India. By the time on his death in 1968 he had achieved a lot such as his efforts in stopping poverty.
